All proceeds benefiting the Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual & Transgender (LGBT) Community Center in New York City. Jose appeared last year in Broadway Backwards 2 (BB2).

Jose will be performing at the 45th Anniversary Gala for Theatreworks at The Rainbow Room. He will be singing the song "Alone In The Darkness" from Suessical and composer Steve Flaherty will be joining him at the piano. The event will honor Tony Award-winning actress Bebe Neuwirth, director Tony Phelan, and Kaki Hinton, vice president of advertising sales for Pfizer Consumer Healthcare, with the organization's Lee Salk Goodworks Award. The gala presentation will be directed by Peter Flynn and choreographed by Devanand Janki.
The company is celebrating its 45th season of presenting not-for-profit professional theater for family audiences. Its next New York production will be an adaptation of Great Expectations starring Kathleen Chalfant and Christian Campbell; performances begin November 8 at the Lucille Lortel Theatre.

Jose took part in a reading of the musical The Long Season for The Public Theater. Book and Lyrics by Chay Yew, Music by Fabian Obispo and directed by Peter DuBois, Associate Producer at The Public Theater. Jose played the lead role of Allos. Having been attached to the Filipino musical for the past three years, Jose sang alongside friends Jen Paz and Francis Jue who also took part in the reading.

Jose will take part in a two week workshop (from June 12 - June 21) of a new Cambodian Opera Project titled "Where Elephants Weep", written by Khmer Rouge survivor Arn Chorn-Pond. This is the first reading of the new opera, which is slated to be performed for the Cambodian government in November. Jose will be playing the lead role of Sam, loosely based on the life of Arn Chorn-Pond. Click here for more information on Arn Chorn-Pond.


Jose, along with his fellow Spelling Bee cast mates will be performing for the Our Time Theatre's 4th Annual Benefit Gala at the Skirball Center for the Performing Arts & Rosenthal Pavilion at NYU. The Our Time Theatre is dedicated to helping kids who stutter find strength and courage through theater. Jose will be joined onstage by Paul Rudd, Anthony Rapp and numerous others performing original songs written by the Our Time Kids.

Jose will be performing in the "Stars in the Alley Concert" on Shubert Alley alongside countless other Broadway stars. The annual free concert takes place at 11am and will boast songs and performers from almost every Broadway show. Jose will be singing The Erection Song from Spelling Bee.
